Just another day

So today is Veterans' Day and we are so thankful for all who serve - especially those from our families. I went to the program at Max's school. It was sweet watching the kids sing. The speaker really got the kids involved and was attempting to show them their blessings. At one point he asked if anyone in the room worried about not having food at their next meal and Max raised his hand!!  ðŸ˜³. I asked him about it and he was said he was worried because I fixed him waffles instead of pancakes for breakfast because we were out of pancakes.  Hahaha!

Max, as his teacher said, is a textbook 1st/oldest child. He is doing so well in school and I'm so proud of him. He's such a gentle little boy and is mostly laid back (like his dad) until he's not and then well he's just an annoyed mess (like his mom). He has very little patience for things that annoy him.   Here is my big boy.

Last night Max decided all of his books were boring so Kelly suggested Max read the sports page. The first thing he said was "is that guy getting arrested?"  Needless to say we picked a different article to read. He and Kelly read an article about Hunter Henry, the arkansas tight end.

Max has liked Hunter Henry all year. He said he wants to be Hunter when he grows up. So tonight he wrote him a letter.

Hopefully we find his address and can mail it to him!  Max is so excited. While Max was writing the letter, Maggie continually told Max to ask Hunter for his debit card instead of Hunter's autograph. Hahaha. That girl is something else!!

My sweet Henry is 9 months old. And I just love him more than I knew I could!  It's amazing how I vividly remember bringing Max home from the hospital and thinking I couldn't have anymore kids because there wasn't anymore room in my heart. Boy was I wrong - I guess your heart just grows with each baby. I never find myself frustrated with him. I guess it's because I've seen with Max and Maggie just how fast it all rushes by. 😞 Henry is such a Momma's boy and I just love it. He is cutting teeth right now and so his big gummy grin has teeth buds and it is SOOOO CUTE!!!

Maggie is still my fire cracker. She constantly keeps me on my toes and is always making me laugh. She is such a loving little girl that I always feel bad after she gets in trouble when she comes to me and apologizes. I guess I should mention that she is the master manipulator and knows exactly what she is doing. She's so independent and I love that about her. She's such a girl too. She loves anything that sparkles and makeup!  She even calls littering, glittering. Hahaha!

For Halloween Maggie was belle (for a party) and Elsa. Max was zombie and Henry was a lion. We partied at Augusta Graces's and then trick or treated. Here they are:

And one last picture of all three of my loves!
