Sick baby girl

Maggie has been really sick. We drove to West Memphis on Friday and after we arrived she started running about a 102 fever. When we woke up on Saturday her fever rose to 104. So, I called our doctor and spoke with the nurse. They thought if her fever remained high she needed to be seen. So I began searching for a place in the area - NO clinic would take a "new" patient on a Saturday.

I posted my dilemma on Facebook
In hopes of getting some leads and a hometown friend saved the day by telling about Le Bonheur urgent care.

They were very attentive and extremely thorough. I have NEVER seen one of my children so sick - including Max's hospital stay right before he turned one. She had to be cathed not once but twice it was AWFUL!!! I'm so thankful my children are healthy and this isn't our daily life.

Apparently she has a urinary infection. She started an antibiotic but her fever remains. It's gotten lower and finally dropped to 100 this afternoon.

She is really so sad. Sleeping all the time and just pretty puny. She crystal whenever she goes to the bathroom. It's so sad.

Say a prayer for my sweet baby girl. Here are some pictures. Her pink blanket has been a huge source of comfort for her. She just loves on it constantly. Today when we got home it was draped on the couch and she just stood beside it hugging it. Sad but very sweet!

Hope you all have a healthy week!!!

Hugs and love!!
