Pretty in Pink

I love to shop! There, I said it. And I REALLY love to shop for clothes for my children. It's seriously is an addiction. We were scheduled for a mini-photo session this weekend for Maggie. So, of course, she had to have the PERFECT outfit for the occassion. So Maggie and I had our first mother-daughter shopping trip! I think Maggie is such a pretty baby and pink really seems to be her color - so we set out looking for the perfect pink outfit. She slept almost the ENTIRE time in her carrier. Maggie is a very unpredictable girl and I never know if she's going to enjoy being out or hate it. So, I was VERY thankful she slept!!

Already annoyed with modeling for pictures

This little picture does not do her little outfit any justice. It was just the sweetest little bubble! Maggie has really been handing out the smiles at home. She usually smiles the most after eating and/or when she wakes up. She also LOVES the flashing star on her playmat. She will lay under it just kicking and smiling for the longest time. It's really sweet. So, I gathered a bottle and her flashing star and we set our for pictures today. She napped on the way. When we arrived she was full and rested and I felt so confident that we'd see some sweet smiles. That little stinker did not flash 1 smile - not 1, not even a smirk!! However, she flashed me smiles the WHOLE way home. Good thing her smiles melt my heart, or I may have been a little annoyed with her! ;) Maggie was not cooperative AT all. I told Lauren all we needed 1!! Fingers crossed!

I guess it's also a good thing she's beautiful even when she doesn't smile!
