Twinkle, Twinkle

Both of my babies are just the twinkles of my eyes!! Max is so loving. He tells me quite often that he "wuvs me so much" and is constantly giving me "wuvin." Even though he is ever bit of a three-year old and has some "tough" days, he really is so sweet and a very easy child. I love his imagination. He is so good about playing. While is still OBSESSED with dinosaurs, he is now OBSESSED with Buzz Lightyear. He runs around the house pretending he is Buzz "Wightyear" and will press his wrist pretending he is pointing his "wayser" (aka laser) at you. He is completely disinterested in potty training - in fact, he's kind of resistant. I put him in buzz underwear yesterday and he literally cried begging me to put his diaper on. He wouldn't even just go without anything - he was adamant about having a diaper. I know he will eventually potty train but I just REALLY wish he was ready!!

We are gearing up for is 3rd Birthday party!!!! I just cannot believe he is three!!!!!

My Sweet Three Year Old

Maggie is such a sweet little girl who I love more and more everyday. She is flashing more and more smiles my way that just TOTALLY melt my heart. She is just so little and absolutely perfect. I remember after Max was born and my heart was SO full of love with him I just didn't believe it was possible for me to love anything else as much as I love him - it's amazing what having another baby will do for you! I look at Maggie and am just overwhelmed with how much I love her.

How could you not be overwhelmed with this face?

Not only am I completely smitten with my babies, it seems that they are quite fond of each other. Max wants to touch and love Maggie all day long and is very attentive to her. He always wants to be right at her side.

He loves to climb in bed with her. Just today Max came and sat with Maggie and I. He started rubbing her cheeks and began singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. It was so sweet. I really almost couldn't stand it. Then he told me, "I sing to her, I wuv her." I don't think life gets any sweeter!!

They also have a daddy that completely adores them both. Last night, Kelly stayed home with both babies so I could go to Sugarland with Linda and Shannon. He did GREAT! I'm actually a little disappointed that both babies did so well. Kelly had both kids in bed (ASLEEP) by 9:00 PM!!! I might just let daddy have bedtime duty every night! ;)
